Did you miss NERA’s Opportunity Knocks SME Program at AOG? Or caught it and want more?

NERA is pleased to offer a special catchup seminar for SMEs with Howard Thomas (Thomas & McKinlay).

This seminar will cover the same material as at AOG but in more depth and detail, and more scope for discussion.

There will be no charge for this Opportunity Knocks for SMEs session, but registration is essential.

Registrations for Phase 2 and Phase 3 are now open.

Phase 2 (developing and fine-tuning your plan)

Registering for a Phase 2 session provides up to two people from your company access to specialist mentors and business advisors to work with you to refine your business plan or idea. To maximise the benefits from Phase 2, there is some Q&A ‘homework’ to be done about your business or innovation – but nothing too arduous, just to get you thinking. Once completed, you will then be able to attend a 2 hour targeted sessionwith a dedicated group of oil and gas industry technical and commercial experts who will help fine-tune your business plan and provide you with the clarity and critical messages to deliver your pitch to companies in Phase 3.

Phase 3 (face to face with Tier 1 Contractors and Operators)

Once your business is ticking all the boxes you will be ready for Phase 3 of the program. This exciting component offers participants a rare and potentially game-changing opportunity to present your business/product/service to potential clients from Tier 1 contractor companies. While fairly new in Australia, the concept of face to face ‘speed dating’ SMEs and large clients is well established internationally as a means of exposing large contractors to innovations and emerging new technologies – and vice versa.Held in conjunction with the Petroleum Club of WA, this session will close with drinks and canapes for contractors and SMEs, providing further networking and a chance to build on connections and opportunities.
